Yakym Calls For Secret Service Director Cheatle's Resignation 

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Rudy Yakym (IN-02) issued the following statement in response to U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle's testimony before the U.S. House Oversight Committee:

"The assassination attempt that nearly claimed the life of President Trump and took Corey Comperatore's in Butler, Pennsylvania was the greatest Secret Service failure in over a generation. Nothing about Director Cheatle's testimony today reassured me or gave me confidence in her ability to competently lead the Secret Service, and she must resign immediately.”
