Keeping Indiana Moving
They don't call us the Crossroads of America for nothing. This is how Hoosier products get to market and how Hoosier families get where they're going. But too many of our roads and bridges are running on borrowed time, and too many good projects sit in a permitting queue for years while costs climb. I'm fighting for real infrastructure investment in Northern Indiana and tax dollars that actually get spent on the roads, bridges, and runways Hoosiers use every day.
Here's the work so far:
- Worked to curb roadside deaths with bipartisan legislation to protect drivers stranded in disabled vehicles
- Led nearly 140 House members in demanding the FAA fix the air traffic controller shortage
- Fought for South Bend International Airport by requesting $6 million to modernize inbound baggage handling, replacing a system built for regional jets that now handles planes three times the size
