Thank you for your interest in interning in our office! The Washington D.C. Office Program gives college students a unique opportunity to see how Congress works up close. Students will be ask asked to answer phones, research legislation for the Member and legislative staff, attend hearings and briefings, and answer constituent letters on various issues before the House.
An internship in the district offices is a great opportunity for students to learn firsthand how to serve the needs of the constituents of Indiana’s Second District. From assisting with cases and attending events, district interns will gain valuable insight on constituent services and community outreach.
