National Defense

Providing for a strong national defense is one of the federal government’s most important constitutional imperatives. Maintaining a strong U.S. military is essential to securing our nation and deterring threats at home and abroad. I agree with President Reagan’s philosophy of achieving “peace through strength.” In Congress, I will support legislation that equips our brave servicemen and women with the tools and resources they need to provide for the common defense.

While the Biden Administration tries to inject politics into the Pentagon, I will fight to ensure our military is focused on mission readiness and lethality, not be treated as a social experiment.
