Yakym Votes to Stand with Israel, Condemn Hamas
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Rudy Yakym (IN-02) issued the following statement after voting for H. Res. 771, a bipartisan House resolution that affirms the U.S. stands with Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas and other terrorists:
“There can be absolutely no equivocation between Hamas’ evil terrorist atrocities – including the indiscriminate slaughtering of innocent women and children – and Israel’s right to defend themselves.
“The world needs to know the United States fully stands with our friend and ally Israel, and that we are with them as they take the actions they deem necessary to eliminate the threat Hamas poses to innocent Israelis.
“I am proud the first action taken under Speaker Mike Johnson was passing this resolution on a strong bipartisan basis and making clear that Israel has our full and unwavering support.”
