Washington, D.C. – Tonight, Congressman Rudy Yakym (IN-02) issued the following statement in response to President Biden’s State of the Union address:

The only silver lining of President Biden’s State of the Union Address tonight is that it will be his last. After three years, our country is weaker and Americans are worse off because of President Biden’s feeble leadership and failed, far-left policies.

Under this president, our allies are being attacked because our adversaries are emboldened, inflation has made Americans poorer, and our southern border has gone from the most secure in history to an unprecedented humanitarian and security disaster

America is still the greatest nation in the history of the world, and Hoosiers deserve leaders who will never stop fighting for them and their families. The good news is that Americans won’t have to live with the chaos caused by this Administration’s incompetence for much longer.

“Help is on the way when voters return strong Republican leadership to the White House by re-electing President Trump and America-First policies in November.”
