Yakym Votes to Defend Innocent Life

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Rudy Yakym (IN-02) released the following statement after supporting the passage of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act yesterday, legislation that would ensure that infants born alive after an attempted abortion receive the same protection of law and degree of care as any other newborn baby:

“As thousands of Americans March for Life today, I am proud to continue my fight for the most precious and vulnerable among us – the unborn. No constitutional right is more fundamental than the right to life – and that right should extend to babies who survive an attempted abortion.”
