Washington, D.C. – Last night, Congressman Rudy Yakym (IN-02) introduced the No Debt Forgiveness for SPOILED Students Act, legislation preventing students and faculty who are expelled or fired due to their involvement in pro-Hamas, anti-American protests on college campuses from having their student loans forgiven. Rep. Yakym introduced this legislation in light of the myriad of destructive protests that have gripped college campuses nationwide in recent weeks.

“Not one red cent of taxpayer dollars should be going to pay for those who want to waste an education so they can indulge themselves in the spirit of radical chic,” said Rep. Yakym. “Americans shouldn’t be on the hook for bailing out other people’s student loans in the first place. They especially shouldn’t be forced by President Biden to do so when it’s to fund Marxists cosplaying as revolutionaries on college campuses, and my legislation ensures they won’t be.”

Full text of the legislation can be found HERE.

The “No Debt Forgiveness for SPOILED Students Act” would:  Make any individual student or faculty member who is expelled or fired from a college or university for having committed a hate crime or found responsible for disorderedly conduct, trespassing, or creating a public disturbance ineligible for any federal student loan relief.
