Rep. Yakym: “Democrats Would Rather Protect Criminals and Gangs”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Rudy Yakym (IN-02) released a statement reiterating his support for law enforcement, including U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE):
“America is a country of law and order, but Democrats would rather protect criminals and let gang members rule the streets,” Rep. Yakym said. “The left’s relentless demonization of law enforcement has fueled these attacks on the brave men and women protecting our communities, but it’s no surprise from a party with no leader, no plan, approval ratings in free fall, and a record of failure that’s hurting everyday Americans.”

- Provide bonuses to Border Patrol and ICE agents
- Fund the hiring 200 immigration judges and to expand immigration courtroom space
