I regret to inform you that, due to the current government shutdown, we are unable to provide any Capitol tours. During the shutdown, regular government functions are suspended, which means all tours have been cancelled. In addition, federally funded museums are closed until further notice.
To help with your visit to Washington, D.C., we’ve included a list of closures as well as alternative sites and activities you may still enjoy below:

It is important to note that operations at the open sites are subject to change at any time. We encourage you to check the websites for each location to check the operating status day of.

Once the government reopens:
All tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances.
White House
Beginning on September 1st, 2025, the White House will be undergoing extensive renovations. As a result, all tours of the White House are postponed indefinitely.
